Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Shweep Android app, the Shweep iOS app (each, the "App"), and the Shweep website at shweep.lol (the "Website").

1. Operator identity

Shweep is developed and operated by Viktor Arsovski. NoAddedSugar, SkoolDev, and ViksaaSkool are internet and developer aliases used by Viktor Arsovski; they are not separate legal entities. On Google Play, Shweep is published under the developer name ViksaaSkool. When distributed through the Apple App Store, the seller name is Viktor Arsovski. In this Privacy Policy, ‘Shweep,’ ‘we,’ ‘us,’ and ‘our’ refer to Viktor Arsovski as the app’s operator.

2. Overview

Shweep is designed to keep your counting activity on your device. Session history and detailed gesture samples are processed and stored locally, and we do not automatically receive them. In versions that include the optional in-app purchases, a purchase-verification service (RevenueCat) is contacted as described in section 7.

The App has:

• no Shweep account and no login
• no Shweep-operated backend for session or gesture data
• no analytics or advertising about your counting sessions or gestures
• no automatic upload of session or gesture information

This policy separates (a) data processed on your device, (b) data you send us directly, and (c) data handled independently by Apple, Google, GitHub, or other services you choose to use. Optional in-app purchases are verified through RevenueCat, a third-party purchase service; see section 7.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following information locally using your platform's app storage.

Completed sessions (shown in Session history):

• a random session identifier
• session start timestamp and end timestamp
• number of sheep counted in the session
• a session end reason (for example, you exited the session or the App was away for a while)

Active session checkpoint (used to track and recover a session in progress):

• a random session identifier
• session start timestamp
• the time of your last successful sheep interaction
• current sheep count
• an optional timestamp recorded when the App enters the background

Preferences:

• your sheep color choice (white, black, or colorful)
• whether you completed the initial sheep color selection
• the version of the update notice already shown

Free-sheep allowance data (stored only on your device):

• the number of free sheep you have used
• the timestamp recorded when you count the final free sheep, which starts the local 24-hour cooldown

This allowance data is calculated and stored locally. It is not sent to a Shweep server, because Shweep has no server for usage or cooldown data.

4. Temporary Interaction Processing

While a counting session is active, the App measures your touch interaction to control the grayscale visual effect. This includes:

• gesture type (a quick flick or a slower drag)
• gesture duration, upward distance, and speed
• whether a gesture was completed, failed, or cancelled
• recent swipe timing and the time since your last interaction
• a derived grayscale level

These detailed samples are held temporarily in memory. They are not added to Session history, are not transmitted to us, and are cleared when the session ends. The App does not use the gyroscope, accelerometer, microphone, camera, or other sensors to estimate sleep.

5. Sessions, Backgrounding, and Estimates

A session begins when you select "Go to sleep." The App updates a local checkpoint as you count sheep. If the App moves to the background, it records a local timestamp:

• if you return within about 10 seconds, the session resumes
• if you remain away for at least about 10 seconds, the session ends at the recorded background timestamp
• an interrupted session may be recovered and completed the next time you open the App

The App does not run a continuous background timer and does not monitor sensors in the background. Shweep itself does not transmit your session data in the background. In versions that include the optional in-app purchases, the purchase SDK may contact its servers when the App starts or returns to the foreground, as described in section 7.

"Wind-down time," "sessions," and Session history values describe time you spent in a Shweep counting session. They do not measure actual sleep duration and do not confirm when you fell asleep.

6. Sharing and External Links

Sharing. The App's Share feature prepares a generic invitation message with Shweep store links. You choose whether and where to send it through your device's native share interface. Shweep does not read your contacts or message history and does not send messages on your behalf. The destination you choose may process the message and related metadata under its own privacy policy.

External links. Settings may open external pages in your browser, including GitHub Pages, GitHub, Google Play, the Apple App Store, and support email. These services may receive normal browser, device, account, cookie, or payment information according to their own policies. When you follow an external link, you leave Shweep and the destination's privacy policy applies.

7. In-app purchases

Shweep offers two independent optional one-time in-app purchases: "Unlimited Sheep", which removes the free sheep allowance while its entitlement remains active, and "Colorful Sheep", which unlocks rainbow sheep without changing the allowance. Buying one does not unlock the other.

To manage purchases, determine which entitlements you own, and restore your purchases, Shweep uses RevenueCat, a third-party purchase-management service. In versions that include the purchases, the purchase service may be contacted when the App starts or returns to the foreground, even if you never buy anything.

For this purpose RevenueCat may process:

• your purchase history
• product and transaction information, including the store receipt
• the entitlement status of "Unlimited Sheep" and "Colorful Sheep"
• an anonymous App User ID associated with your installation
• limited technical information such as app version and platform

Shweep has no accounts and no login, so this information is tied to the App User ID RevenueCat generates for your installation rather than to a Shweep account. It is used only to provide the App's functionality and to manage your purchases, entitlements, and restoration. It is not used for advertising, and it is not used to track you across apps or websites. RevenueCat processes this information under its own privacy policy, available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Purchases are completed through the store from which you downloaded the App, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store. Those stores process your payment credentials under their own privacy policies. Shweep never receives, sees, or stores your card or other payment details.

The free sheep allowance itself is calculated and stored locally on your device and is not sent to RevenueCat.

8. What We Do Not Receive

The App does not automatically send us your locally stored session history or detailed gesture samples. Shweep does not use analytics or advertising SDKs about your counting activity, does not require an account, and does not access your location, camera, microphone, or contacts. In versions that include the optional in-app purchases, RevenueCat is used to manage, verify, and restore those purchases, as described in section 7; it processes an anonymous App User ID and purchase information for that purpose. We do not sell your data and do not use device identifiers for profiling or advertising.

The App does not continuously monitor or transmit data in the background. It may save a local session checkpoint and background timestamp when its lifecycle changes.

9. Device Backups and Transfers

Your operating system may include App data in device backups, restores, or device transfers:

• Android backup is enabled for the App
• iOS stores App data in a backup-eligible location

Apple, Google, or your device manufacturer control those backups under your device settings. Shweep does not provide its own cloud-sync service. Because platform backups may retain copies, App data can leave your device through these services even though Shweep itself does not upload it.

10. Retention and Deletion

Completed sessions are retained locally without automatic expiration, and there is currently no in-app control to delete session history. You can remove App data by clearing the App's storage (Android) or deleting the App (Android and iOS). Deleting the App may not immediately remove copies retained in platform backups. We cannot remotely access or delete records stored on your device.

Purchase-verification records held by RevenueCat are associated with an anonymous App User ID rather than a Shweep account. Deleting the App does not necessarily delete records already held by RevenueCat. RevenueCat handles those records in accordance with its privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

11. Communications

If you email contact@viktorarsovski.xyz or contact us on GitHub, you choose what information to provide. GitHub issues and discussions may be public. We use correspondence to respond to your request and may retain it as reasonably necessary to answer you, keep records, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations. You may ask us to delete correspondence we control, subject to applicable requirements.

12. Website Hosting

This Website is hosted on GitHub Pages at shweep.lol. The current Website uses no first-party analytics, forms, advertising, or scripts; it serves static files and links to GitHub and the NoAddedSugar website operated by Viktor Arsovski under that alias. The NoAddedSugar logo shown on the Website is hosted by Shweep, so simply loading the Website does not request anything from noaddedsugar.dev; only clicking the attribution link does. GitHub may process information such as your IP address, browser type, and requested pages as described in GitHub's Privacy Statement.

13. Children's Privacy

Shweep does not provide an age-verification system and is not directed at young children. If you are a minor, use the App only with approval from a parent or guardian where required by your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not send us your session data, we generally cannot access or delete it. Parents or guardians with concerns may contact us at contact@viktorarsovski.xyz.

14. Your Choices and Rights

Your choices depend on where the information lives:

• App-local records: you control them through your device and can remove them by clearing App storage or deleting the App
• Communications you send us: you may request access or deletion of correspondence we control
• Platform and third-party records: Apple, Google, GitHub, RevenueCat, and other services handle their own data under their policies

We cannot remotely access, correct, or delete records stored on your device.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Where required, we will provide additional notice. Earlier versions are retained for reference, for example the policy for versions 1.0.0 and 1.0.2.
